What do you fear?

Fear, four letter word that can really haunt you.

I fear the wrath of God,
I fear not being able to have a baby of our own and experiencing child birth
I fear that I will get some type of chronic disease that will limit me
I fear of a loved one dying too early
I fear not ever getting to be a mommy

Truly I should fear nothing, I have a God who is in control of my life, who is safe guarding me from any harm. Though the above fears are realistic, I need not worry, for what does worry add to my life, nothing!
Jeremiah 29:11 states "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you not harm, PLANS to give you a future and hope.

The unknown can be a scary thing but it doesn't have to be or need to be if you have King Jesus as your savior- he will never leave us or forsake us, he is holding our hand beside us and also goes before us in this life each and everyday.

Faithfully
Evolving
Always
Rejoicing in the hope, peace, and love of our Savior Jesus

Lent is here and I have never really responded to Lent, I always thought it was a ritualistic religious action that wasn't oh how do I put this - wasn't what I needed to participate in. Growing in faith and my relationship with King Jesus....I see that it is much more than a ritual and more of a servant worthy deed. I want to serve King Jesus every second of my days here on earth and then forever in eternity, so Lent is now a time of where each of these 40 days leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection (how glorious) is a time where I repent, and truly truly focus on him my King. Giving my whole self to him and seeking out what this looks like.
Yesterday was Ash Wednesday the beginning of the lent season and so I am behind already, but I want to participate faithfully. not as a duty but as a servant of his.

What do you do for the Lent season?
