Sick I am! I am just laying around the house, figured I'd update my blog since I have some time to actually do nothing. Work is hectic, wedding plans are over my head, time is precious, school is overboard, i need some time to breathe! Literally so i can get well. The combination of stressors in my life has worn my immune system down!

FALL is Here!

Welcome Fall, how I love you! I don't know about anyone else but for some reason I am so ready for fall this year...Goodbye summer so long! Fall is my favorite time of the year but I don't enjoy what's to come after thanksgiving says goodbye...colder weather. Yuck! Actually I am ok up until the day after Christmas then I wish it would jump into Spring. Why do we have to suffer through 3 more months of cold weather why? I should stop complaining though and look out my window and see that fall is here not winter so enjoy the time I'm in huh?!? Although the leaves are not a deep red, orangish yellow just yet I can feel the air crisp and cool, hear the crackling of leaves burning in my mind of course and smell the smores on the campfire while wrapped up in a cozy sweater laughing with the people I love. Ahhh I again love you FALL!

Photography, Weddings, and Fashion

So, the more I am looking at wedding photography the more into it I am, I am really wanting a very high quality camera for Christmas this year! I am so excited to learn more about photography and one day maybe take some really good pictuires! I have a telephone interview with a possible photographer this morning! I have today off so I am trying to squeeze important things in on this one day! I loved my run this morning and made it through it all the way! Anywho I am going to show you all this dress I found rummaging through the anthropologie site where my heart goes ba-bump-ba-bump for the amazing things they have to offer!

Reminds me of my bedroom and how it looks right now....sort of :-)

God has Blessed me with a beautiful mother inside and out! :-) Happy Birthday MOM!

Today is my mom's birthday! I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how special she is. SHe is a women of God, a daughter of Christ and in watching her grow more in the Lord, I have grown more in him as well. She has blessed her family greatly with who she is and has raised her children up in faith, love and passion for Jesus! My dad and her have made me the women I am today. Mom if it wasn't for you throughout my life to listen to me complain, to cry with, to hold my hand and hair when I had the flu ( I always remember I would tell you I wanted to die) hahaha you always said to stop saying that as I was curled up on the rug in the bathroom. Ahh the memories! You have a beauty that radiates off of you and I always am so proud when people say we look alike! God has taken us through tough times to get us to the place we are today and I believe it's the best place we have been yet and I know it is only going to continue to grow. I hope your day is filled with blessings of friends and love. You deserve the best! You truly are the greatest mom on earth and we are truly blessed to be your kids! I love you more than all the fishies in the sea! Happy Birthday!

Engaged it's been awhile!

A trip to Galena ended with extreme excitement! Aaron and I are now ENGAGED! the ring is pure elegance, just what I always wanted! Although I am so nervous when I am wearing it. Still in awe of it! Been extremely busy with the new job and wedding planning/stressing...but it is coming together and I still have more than a year...too long if u ask me but it hopefully will fly by! I cant wait to be married and start our family! God hopefully will bless us with little rugrats soon after we are married! Crossing my fingers! I have you enjoyed the pictures :-)

I am going to switch out the lamp shades as soon as I can find lamp bases I have the new lamp shades coming soon!

Front Door...can't wait to pour more concrete so this fall I can fit a bench on the second slab and decorate for fall with pumpkins,gourds and so much more!

It's still a work in progress and probably always will be, as a designer's work is never done!!!
