Summer Lovin' Dreams n Such

How is your Summer?  Going by in the blink of an eye? Summer is wonderful, the heat and humidity here is rockin that is for sure. I love the ability to wear light and airy dresses, flowy tanks, and fun swimsuits! Summer mornings have been filled with coffee, a little Good Morning America, day dreaming of my own business, which I saw the post from Sweet Savannah...on her little home shop her husband built her. Can I just say JEALOUS! It is precious, all the details are amazing! I instantly sent my Hubby a message stating "you need to  build my own little shop babe" I have pictures for inspiration. Thanks Sweet Savannah! I really am going to hopefully start taking steps towards my own business dream, slowly but surely it WILL happen! So its friday and that means the weekend is here. Hopefully it sticks around awhile ;) I have homework, a fish fry lake party, a pool party, and more homework! What are your plans???

Tasty Tuesday

I can't believe Summer is going by soo fast! I know that it really just started this past week, but it's almost the 4th of July and that to me means its coming to an end soon :(  Winter drags on but Summer runs away from us before we can say hello. I always have theses big dreams of basking in the sun and swiming in the lake....laying on the dock by an ocean somewhere. Cookouts with friends and family take place a lot during summer, this is the one thing that can actually happen a lot unlike laying by the ocean (since we have  no ocean in Illinois). I found a lot of tasty recipes I am planning on trying out for the rest of my summer cookouts. Here are a few from pinterest this week!

A buffet redo

With the help of a very talented friend I was able to finish my buffet that I picked up a few weekends ago. It's going downstairs on the wall facing the stairs. I was browsing tj maxx again (I do this weekly) and found the perfect mirror to go above the buffet. I'll be posting pictures later of the whole package put together inside the house. Summer loves Ice-Cream

So I am using summer as my excuse to eat ice-cream everyday, I even found a sign to back me up! My love for ice-cream started when I was in my mother's womb she ate a-lot of it when she was carrying me. So momma thanks for making me addicted! Haha, really though I love me some ice-cream any flavor will do! My favorite that I have been eating lately is white chocolate raspberry frozen yogurt but a good ole' chocolate is yummy too. What's your favorite kind of ice-cream?? I am currently working on a few items we picked up from third Sunday Market this past weekend, I got one table down and a buffet to go. Trying to decide on the right color for the buffet I got a milk paint white from Lowe's and am thinking of leaving the top the dark wood stain that it is naturally.... What do you think? Exterior changeup= happy wife!

Soo anxious to start a new project on our house! I have so many ideas floating around in my head, it is making me go nuts! I think the first of many might be putting shake siding on the front of our house and then purchasing a new front door. I really like the siding color cypress from Menards. I just found it this morning! Of course I emailed it to my Hubby right away. I told you I am anxious to get a move on! Our shutters already are black and I love the combo of olive and black together. Perfection if you ask me. Another reason we are choosing the olive color of shake siding is because no one around us has a green home! We will be the only ones! I love being unique in all things I do. Everyone have a good week, hubby just texted me and told me he was going to go take a peek at it! WOOHOO!
